"On the 29th and 30th of April 2009, Drishtee and SBI organized a training for the CSPs in Mathura. Drishtee has registered more then 70 financial kiosks for SBI BC model and few of them have already started working as BF (Business Facilitator) for SBI. "
The training was basically organized for two main agendas: first was “ SBI Product Training” and second was to assign each CSP their Branch location along with the Branch Manager & CMF(Channel Manager Facilitator). 41 CSPs attended the training which was quite informative.
On the first day, SBI Trainer Mr. Sharafat Hussain and CGM Mr. Talwar explained about the terms & conditions, eligibility criteria, enclosures of all major Assets & Liabilities Products (like Kisan Credit Card, Gold Loan, Dairy Plus Scheme, Gram Nivas Scheme etc., current account, saving account, FD and recurring deposits).
On the second day all the CSPs were introduced to their Branch Managers and CMF. The DGM Mr. Mahrotra also assigned the target of 500K for each CSP and also communicated the same to each CMF to help each CSP to achieve their target. Drishtee team also explained the CSPs how to maintain records so that they can claim their incentives and how much incentive will they get for each product.
On the 4th of May 2009, Drishtee and HDFC organized a training for the Finance Kiosks in Bareilly. Drishtee CSPs are working as BC (Business Correspondent) for HDFC with two CSPs for the last one year. The pilot has been successful and now all the other CSPs will work individually with their own POS machines. All the 8 CSPs were present there for the training. The training was focused on HDFC Loan products (KGC Only), Account opening (No-frill, Unnati, FD) and transactions. All the CSPs got training of how to do withdrawal and deposits of accounts using the POS machine. HDFC team specially focused on KYC norms and the importance of KYC. CSPs were also given training to identify fake notes and to identify fake debit cards.
